Your HR Tampa colleagues are hopeful that your time spent in transition to your next position is as short as possible.
To that end, we want to ensure that you are aware of the various tools available to you via your chapter membership.
If you have not yet done so, please connect/enroll to the following:
1. HR Tampa Chapter In-Transition Group: https://www.linkedin.com/grp/home?gid=6700637 In this group, we will have the opportunity to offer a monthly meeting, based on RSVPs, either prior or post the regular chapter meeting, on topics such as resume review, interview skills, networking, electronic resume submission, financial planning, etc.
2. Sign in on the HR Tampa website: http://www.hrtampa.org/ then click on Career Center. Here you will find three subsections, HR Tampa Career Center and the Members In Transition areas. Please explore each of these and sign up for the various job announcements and other resources
3. Volunteer. One of the best ways to stay connected, network and maintain your skills (and sanity) is to use some of your time to volunteer at various chapter events. HR Tampa is regularly engaged with various job fairs that need volunteers to perform resume review, interview skills etc. All committee members must be active HR Tampa members in good standing.
