Another testing window is current in progress.  Our 2013/2014 Certification window is still going on, but we are already getting a lot of feedback on recent successes.  We wanted to celebrate with you some of the newly certified professionals who participated in the fall Study Group and/or Crash Course.

 1.     Update your SHRM and HR Tampa profiles on the respective websites.  It’s a great time to look at your profile and make sure all the information is current and correct.

 2. Contact registration@hrtampa.org  so our Hospitality team can order new name tags, identifying your newly earned designation.

Exam Eligibility Requirements (hrci.org)

PHR Eligibility

1 year of demonstrated professional HR experience with a Master’s degree or higher

2 years of demonstrated professional HR experience with a Bachelor’s degree

4 years of demonstrated professional HR experience with less than a Bachelor’s degree

 

SPHR Eligibility

4 years of demonstrated professional HR experience with a Master’s degree or higher

5 years of demonstrated professional HR experience with a Bachelor’s degree

7 years of demonstrated professional HR experience with less than a Bachelor’s degree

 

 GPHR Eligibility

2 years of demonstrated global professional HR experience with a Master’s degree or higher

3 years of demonstrated professional HR experience (with 2 of the 3 being global HR experience) with a Bachelor’s degree

4 years of demonstrated professional HR experience (with 2 of the 4 being global HR experience) with less than a Bachelor’s degree

HR certification is a career-long commitment that proves to your peers and your organization that you are driven to be successful in HR management. Earning your HR credentials can:

We are currently accepting enrollment for our 2014 Spring Study Group which begins January 21. This study group is free of charge to HR Tampa members, but participants will be required to purchase learning guides.  SHRM Learning System can be purchased through HR Tampa at a reduced rate.  The study group provides an informal setting to review and discuss study material, and to practice test taking.

The study group:
• Meets 2 (or 2.5) hours weekly for twelve weeks, Tuesday evenings from 6 to 8 pm (or 8:30)

• Open to HR Tampa members at no cost.

• Open to non-HR Tampa members for $50 (plus price of books)

SHRM Learning System cost is $650.00.  All orders must be in by 01/10/2014.

Please note if we get enough orders this will be reduced to $600.00
